Join us for spooky season for our first ever in-person wand carving workshop and learn how to carve a wooden wand!  

We will guide students in hand-carving their own wooden wand using traditional Japanese tools and techniques—perfect for adding a little magic to your spooky season! The class will begin with a discussion of different types of wood, an explanation of the tools required, and an overview of the techniques used for wood carving. Once students have gained a basic understanding, Melanie will lead them in carving the base of the wand, followed by shaping and refining the handle and tip to create a unique, personalized design. After the final design is achieved, students will sand and finish their wands with an all-natural finish.

All tools will be provided for use during the workshop, with the option to purchase them at a discounted rate so you can continue your wand-making journey at home. To make the experience even more fun, witch & wizard attire is highly encouraged!
